The sellers lived in the house for 31 years and paid just $300,000 for the property in 1991.

Set against the backdrop of skyline panoramas that stretch from Broadbeach to Surfers Paradise, the residence is on a prized main river position.

Kollosche Broadbeach agent Eddie Wardale said the aspect and location was hard to top.

He said the buyers planned to move in to the property and would look to rebuild in a few years.

“This home has been expertly maintained and cared for,” he said.

“So, while you could move straight in and enjoy, the opportunity is there to make a blank canvas of the block and build your dream home too.
