A luxurious acreage property built on the site of a historic dairy farm in Tallebudgera has sold for $3 million.

PRD Burleigh Heads principal John Fischer had just listed the stunning dual-living estate with its own floodlit soccer pitch when his wife, Kayla, saw the post online and fell in love.

The couple snapped up the dream home, which was built in 2017 on the original site of The Simpsons Dairy Farm, established by one of Tallebudgera and Currumbin Valley’s pioneering local families in the early 1900s.

Mr Fischer said he was thrilled after years of trying to convince his wife to make the switch from their Miami home of ten years to life in the Valley, where he is well-known for marketing some of the area’s most prestigious real estate.

The couple has three children, Camryn, 5, Mila, 3, and Jude, 1.

“I’ve always wanted to be here [in Tallebudgera] but I couldn’t get Kayla over the line with anything until now,” Mr Fischer said.

“She just loved the style of this home, which is quite similar to our place at Miami, and all that beautiful flat land for the kids. It is so private and you have beautiful views, too.”

The family has listed their four-bedroom home on Joeith Ct, Miami for offers over $1.995m.

A special feature of the Tallebudgera property on a 6,172sq m lot is the second residence, which has been re-imagined from the original dairy barn and is believed to be one of the oldest remaining structures in the area.

Named ‘the Barn’, it has a modern industrial vibe featuring the old barn posts, with two bedrooms, a black-painted cinema room, polished concrete floors, and a kitchen with rustic wooden benchtops and farm sinks.
