Social media identity Troy ‘Candy’ Williams has sold his waterfront Gold Coast home to controversial The Block bidder and online entrepreneur Adrian ‘Lambo Guy’ Portelli.
Mr Williams is keeping the sale price under wraps for now, with his mate and business associate Mr Portelli to raffle off the designer property dubbed ‘Candyland’ under the banner of his promotions company, LMCT Plus.
Marketing agent Emil Juresic, of NGU Real Estate, described the deal as “really great money”, after the house had been listed with price expectations of $2.8 to $3 million.

Mr Juresic said the contemporary five-bedroom, four-bathroom house owned by Mr Williams and his partner, Anita Cassin, attracted multiple offers during the sales campaign.
“We had crazy interest on the house…and then Adrian decided to buy it as a prize home,” Mr Juresic said.
The agent, who shares a passion for luxury cars with both Mr Williams and Mr Portelli, described the colourful pair as “just two Aussie battlers giving it a f***ing go”.
Mr Williams flaunts a flashy lifestyle to his 230,000-plus online followers, and recently launched his latest business venture, Gee-Up, a pre-mixed alcoholic beverage.

He founded custom car detailing company, Eye Candy Motorsports, in Melbourne in 2012 and moved to Queensland in 2020, purchasing the then-new property for $1.64m six days after it first hit the market in January 2021.
“Adrian just bought my house,” Mr Williams said.
“Stay tuned, Candyland is going to be up for grabs.
“I don’t want to toot my own horn, but it’s a beautiful, beautiful home, and it’s one not to miss out on.”

Self-made millionaire Mr Portelli made headlines after rocking up to the 2022 auction finale of renovation TV series The Block in a yellow Lamborghini, pushing up the price for contestants Omar and Oz’s house.
He bowed out of that bidding war, but later splashed $4.25m on another house from the series, which had been passed in at auction.
Then in April, Mr Portelli smashed the record for Melbourne’s most expensive apartment, splurging $39m on a luxury penthouse in the new Sapphire by the Gardens twin-tower CBD development.

The Gold Coast home on a 480sq m lot was set over two levels facing north to the canals off the Coomera River.
Highlights included high ceilings and quality finishes with multiple living and dining areas, a sleek kitchen fitted with custom cabinetry, and a stylish barbecue entertaining area overlooking the pool.
There’s also a home office, pontoon, two wine cellars, bespoke lighting and stone feature walls, the sale listing stated.

The home was raided by police in May last year, with dramatic footage of officers ramming the front door shared by Mr Williams to his social media channels.
He was charged with possessing dangerous drugs, but police offered no evidence when Mr Williams appeared in Southport Magistrates Court in November and the case was dropped.
Mr Juresic said Mr Williams and his family had purchased elsewhere after searching for a family-friendly home with a backyard for their toddler son, Saint, who was born in June 2021.
