54 Allambi Ave, Broadbeach Waters has sold in an of-market deal.
A Gold Coast property that went viral for its retro flair has sold in a hushed off-market deal.
Allambi House at 54 Allambi Ave, Broadbeach Waters ranked as the most-viewed listing on the Gold Coast on realestate.com.au when it was launched in May.
Sellers Perri and Eddie Beith were behind the new build which pushed design boundaries with its mid-century modern vibe.

There is plenty of space in the backyard to entertain.

The main living areas.
The property, which attracted national television coverage, initially went to auction where it was passed in.
It was later listed with a price tag of offers over $2.775m before it was pulled from the market.
This week, Mrs Beith announced the off-market sale of the property, although the sale price hasn’t been revealed.
“We are so excited to share that Allambi House has officially sold and the new owners will take over in September,” she said.
“We are just thrilled for somebody else to love and live in this home.”

The kitchen has integrated appliances.

Mr Beith, a builder with his own construction business, and Mrs Beith, who runs a renovating and design consultancy, combined their skills to ensure their 18th home renovation was far from ordinary.
The design, with its flamboyant finishes and retro charm, takes you on a journey through the ages to a time when architecture was celebrated as art.

The pool hugs the house.

The sunken lounge.
One of the couple’s favourite features is the sunken lounge with banquet-style seating, plush shag pile carpet and stacked stone feature wall.
Other standouts include the kitchen with integrated appliances and the pool that sits alongside the house.
Property records reveal the couple paid $1.05m for the property in May, 2022.

Speaking about the property when it first hit the market, Mrs Beith said she enjoyed the
challenge of a mid-century modern house and was happy to shake up the Gold Coast property market.
“The Gold Coast is well-known for its beautiful luxurious properties and there is a real lean to that beachy-coastal style which is amazing,” she said.
“But it’s nice to introduce different styles.
“Realistically there are so many different people who want to live here and not everyone wants a coastal home.
“There are so many other people doing different designs as well with so many cool properties coming out.”
