Sunland Group builder lists $4m Benowa Waters home

128 Sir Bruce Small Blvd, Benowa Waters

Sunland Group builder and developer Riaz Rezvanipour and his wife Mona have listed the waterfront family home they designed and built in Benowa.

The luxurious three-storey house at 128 Sir Bruce Small Blvd is marketed by Katrina Walsh, of Harcourts Coastal, with an asking price of $3.95 million.

Mrs Rezvanipour is the daughter of Sunland Group’s founder, Soheil Abedian. Mr Rezvanipour and his brother-in-law Sahba Abedian are also behind the new development company, Arium, which last week lodged plans for the first stage of three giant towers overlooking Snapper Rocks.

Arium’s Eden Ave Residences will rise to 16 storeys with 54 units, replacing the existing Greenmount Beach resort.

Property records show Mr Rezvanipour and his wife, Mona, paid $435,000 for their 882sq m lakefront lot in Benowa Waters 2003 and built the north-facing house the following year.

The home has four bedrooms, all with ensuites, and a lavish master bedroom with a private balcony overlooking the lake.

Lakefront entertaining

“This immaculate property has been the Rezvanipour family home for the past 15 years and was designed and built by Riaz himself,” Ms Walsh said.

“Renowned for his exceptional engineering skills and attention to detail, Mr Rezvanipour has reverted to classic architecture to create a truly timeless home located in one of the Gold Coast’s most revered locations.

“This lakefront beauty is ideal for a family wanting a sophisticated home with room to move in an idyllic location.”

Ms Walsh said the home had been designed to make the most of its prime lakefront position with open-plan spaces and a seamless connection to outdoor areas.

“Once inside the home’s grand entrance, the wide 20.1m lakefront view of peaceful Lake June really takes centre stage, forming an idyllic backdrop to the expansive living and lounge areas,” Ms Walsh said.

The home’s statement entry opens onto 6m-high ceilings with feature pendant lighting and a custom-made steel and blackbutt staircase.

The kitchen has a backlit 3.4m Calcultta marble island bench, while the private dining room and waterfront terrace overlooking the pool and spa provide further options for entertaining.

There’s also a spacious top-level family room, a basement billiard room with outdoor access which is ideal as a teenager’s retreat, and a soundproof home theatre with Bose surround sound system and projector.

PropTrack data shows house prices in Benowa were up 0.4 per cent over the past 12 months, to a median of $1.426m.
